If you played Diablo I/II you will feel intimate with Torchlight very fast. Take a look Torchlight trailer

There are three classes you can choose from right now.

The Destroyer

The Vanquisher

The Alchemist

I tried the Vanquisher and Destroyer and had allot of fun, swords, axes, sledges, bows, crossbows and even guns are obtainable. Quite funny to play a melee char with long range attack and vice versa. Your pet takes aggro, can block and even carry your stuff and items you find all the time (rare, set and unique items also, yes its like diablo ^^)
Do not spend time to pick up gold ... just come close. (missed this feature in every other game)

The bad news ... there is no multiplayer, but they are working on it. Also heard about someone working on coop via hamachi...

Its surely not Diablo III but a nice little game to spend some hours on.
